Healthy Pizza or just a load of Dough?
Pizza Hut, the largest pizza chain in the U.S., is rolling out a new "healthy" pizza called Fit 'N Delicious, containing about 25% less fat than its regular pizzas. The new pizza has less cheese, more sauce, and fewer fat-laden toppings. That's the good news. The bad news is that the "healthy" pizza is still a heaping load of processed carbs, certainly not a helpful tool for long-term weight loss. The new Fit 'N Delicious pizza only has 30 fewer calories per slice than the chain's Thin 'N Crispy pizza. Nice try, Pizza Hut, but you still deserve a pie in the face.
