Kicking the French Fry Habit
Finally some good national diet news to report! Americans appear to be ordering less french fries at restaurants this year. French fry sales have declined by around 10% over the past year, according to a consumer research group. Given the fact that more than 60% of Americans are overweight, this is a good habit to break. McDonald's the largest U.S. fast-food chain, has delayed plans to remove harmful trans fat from its frying oil. Maybe it's time to remove McDonald's from our restaurant list.
