Getting Started: The evil, but necessary, scale
Haven't weighed yourself in a while? (a month, a year, Jimmy Carter's inaugural address). Well, I hate to say it, but its time to bite the bullet and get your fat butt (excuse me, ever so slightly zaftig behind on the machinery pronto!
If you don't own a scale, or if the scale in your house is so old that it spits out readings about as accurate as Miss Cleo, it's time to engage in some retail activity (this pathetic U.S. economy could sure use it).
I recommend purchasing a digital scale, which should provide a fairly accurate reading assuming it cost more than $19.95. Please don't go cheap on the equipment! Your body deserves to fly first class, not economy. I personally own a sleek Tanita scale, which provides both weight and body fat percentages. You can purchase your own deluxe Tanita scale HERE
Coming Wednesday: I bought the damn scale, now what???
